What is a nuisance call label?
As a customer who conducts legitimate voice business, you may have noticed that your outbound calls are being marked with nuisance call labels, such as 'Scam Likely', 'Spam', 'Fraud Risk', 'Robo Call', or any other variant based on an app, device or network. This can be frustrating and may result in your outbound calls going unanswered or even getting blocked.
It's important to understand that these labels and any other resulting call blocks or filtering are done by the called party, their carrier, or their analytics partners, and not by Ringblaze. Since Ringblaze is not the party responsible for filtering these calls or adding these labels, we have limited ability to remedy the issue. However, we understand your concerns and want to help you as much as we can.
To potentially eliminate these labels and/or call blocking, there are some actions you can perform, but please note that they are not guaranteed to work.
How do I remove a nuisance label or call filtering from my Ringblaze phone number?
Here are steps to address call filtering and nuisances on your Ringblaze number.
US Numbers
Register your US numbers with the FCC at https://www.freecallerregistry.com/fcr/, which covers the main analytic companies that support major US wireless carriers that can remove a negative label on a call.
Updating or Adding CNAM
In the United States public telephone network, CNAM (Caller ID Name) is a feature that allows the identification of incoming callers by their personal or business name associated with the originating phone number. This can be particularly useful if you purchase a new number, as CNAMs are not automatically removed when users release ownership of a number.
Here are the steps that you can submit CNAM change requests:
After completing your Business Profile, contact us to register or change your CNAM.
Candian Numbers
Most Canadian carriers use Hiya for their spam data. Registering your business with Hiya will likely reduce the chance that your phone number is marked as spam

International Numbers
We don't support removing nuisance labels from international numbers at this time. Please contact the carrier that is responsible for ending your calls and ask them to investigate why your calls are being marked as spam.
Will registering my number resolve mislabeled calls?
Although registering a number can often resolve issues of mislabeling or blocking, it is important to note that it does not guarantee that mislabeled calls will not occur again in the future. Additionally, if consumers report a number for spam or fraud, it may also be flagged again.
As best practices, we recommend the following key practices:
Remain consistent in your calling behavior.
Make sure that you follow TCPA laws, FCC regulations, and Ringblaze's Acceptable Use Policy.
